Rodeway Inn Norfolk

From NY visiting my daughter who lives in Virginia and stayed for 5 days. Friendly staff, my 10 year old son adored the cleaner from Spain because she was super friendly, clean room, quiet, didn't appear to be in a dangerous area, laundry on site, elevator is a plus. There were stores across the street for food and other needs, a food store, a Marshalls and Big Lots, nearby fast food like McDonalds, Cook Out (my new favorite that isn't in NY) and Hardee's. Not too far to get to Virginia beach. Had a balcony off the room, was nice even if the view was stores across the street. I'd stay again.

This place will trick you at first I wasn’t sure about it but once we got to our room I was happy. This was a last minute trip and last minute reservation. The room was new, everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the pillows too. The front desk lady Barbara was very kind and friendly. Happy to find a place to stay for our future trips.

The location looked a little sketchy from the outside, but the lobby was very clean and welcoming. We had a non-smoking room and our friends had a smoking room. You can tell the non-smoking rooms are newer/newly renovated. It had a walk-in shower and vanity mirrors as well as a flat screen tv and was super nice. We didn't have to deal with too many noises coming from outside. Overall, it was a peaceful stay. I would stay here again.

Private, my entire roo. Was just a vibe. I NEEDED a small get away and I couldn't ask for anything better. I'm completely relaxed. The front desk lady was the sweetest ever. Very friendly and GREAT at her job!

There is easy parking inside a yard. There is Lion Food supermarket on the opposite side of the street. Walking distance is 7eleven or Dunkin’ donuts for coffee in the morning.
